Aquatic Survival Program
Our years of training and hands on experience have allowed BORN 2 SWIM to structure a swim program designed to ensure that your child successfully acquires life saving skills. The results will amaze you!
Utilizing consecutive private lessons, your child will learn to hold their breath, put their face in the water, swim for 3-4 seconds, rotate to a floating position to rest and breathe, then rotate again to a swimming position to continue swimming. Upon the completion of the course, your child will be able to successfully achieve a float from any position and swim to and from parents, pool steps or wall.
Why Choose Born 2 Swim?
Who are we?
We are a mommy owned & family run small school dedicated to the aquatic success of each and every one of our swimmers. We make every effort to provide your family with the same love and compassion we want for our family.
We understand the sacrifices of time and money parents make to bring their children to our school. We honor your choice to swim with us by getting to know your family, providing the most highly trained teachers as well as the best value in lessons money can buy.
Who are our teachers?
Our teachers are personally selected by our owner for his or her energy and positivity. They are team players who love children and are driven by helping them succeed. We pride ourselves by hiring each teacher for his or her personality and then we train their skills.
Are our teachers certified and trained to work with children of all abilities?
All of our teachers receive in water training in our methodology from our curriculum director prior to obtaining national certifications. Once trained everyone is required to obtain certifications with the Red Cross for teaching swimming lessons as well as First Aid/CPR/AED. Our teachers also receive continuous training with leading experts to work with children on the autism spectrum.
What are the goals of our lessons?
Our ultimate goal is to prevent aquatic tragedies by teaching children how to independently survive in any aquatic environment. Each lesson is personalized to each child’s physical ability with the intent of empowering him or her with skills that will foster a lifelong love of swimming.
