WHY IS BORN 2 SWIM SO SUCCESSFUL?

Our program is based on patience and persistence. We build your child’s skills gradually through our age appropriate lessons so that your child becomes comfortable in the water and learns VITAL LIFE SAVING SKILLS.

AT WHAT AGE DO YOU START TEACHING A CHILD?

We begin introducing infants to our aquatic environment as early as 2 months in our (AquaBabies I) level for infants 2-6 months and a caregiver. Our Rolly Polly “Survival” level is available for children 6 months and beyond. All lessons types are held in our indoor 92° pool.

WHY START SWIMMING LESSONS AT AN EARLY AGE?

Statistics reveal that the behaviors of automatic breath holding and swimming movements are almost instinctual & begin to fade as early as 3 months of age. It gives babies a head start in learning basic swimming skills, improves gross motor coordination and balance. In addition, exposure to swimming provides the ideal exercise for EVERYONE, not just babies because there are no restrictions due to gravity. We all benefit from the cardiovascular exercise it provides and it improves lung capacity, a significant advantage for asthmatics.

WHY SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED ABOUT TEACHING OUR CHILD TO SWIM?
