Infant & Child Survival & Swim Lessons Serving Greater Miami & Surrounding Areas

Our years of training and hands on experience have allowed BORN 2 SWIM to structure a swim program designed to ensure that your child successfully acquires life saving skills. The results will amaze you!

Utilizing consecutive private lessons, your child will learn to hold their breath, put their face in the water, swim for 3-4 seconds, rotate to a floating position to rest and breathe, then rotate again to a swimming position to continue swimming. Upon the completion of the course, your child will be able to successfully achieve a float from any position and swim to and from parents, pool steps or wall.

    AQUATIC SURVIVAL PROGRAM

Born 2 Swim introduces children 6 months and up aquatic survival skills by teaching them to float on their backs. We DO NOT teach infants and toddlers to raise their head out of the water to take a breath. They are taught to how to roll onto their backs into a survival floating position where they can rest and breathe.

Babies are very buoyant and can remain in a floating position for a very long time. Even, when they are fully clothed.

Survival swimming instruction for infants and toddlers is a healthy approach to the prevention of a pediatric drowning, while learning the mechanics of swimming strokes as a recreational activity. For the safety of their children, parents MUST understand the importance of learning survival skills FIRST. Furthermore, survival swimming instruction is the FOUNDATION for recreational stroke development.

    ROLLY POLLY FLOATY

(Infants 6-11 months old – Level 1, Infant Aquatic Survival)

Particularly active infants may also learn to propel themselves for a short distance through the water between two parents/caregivers. All classes are approximately 10-15 minutes per day, 4 days a week + a FAMILY FUN FRIDAY class. “On average”, this program is normally completed in 4 weeks.
